MIZPAH METHODIST WEEK CELEBRATION

A Society / Anniversary / MYF Week Celebration for Mizpah Methodist Society (e.g., Mizpah Society, Akwateman) is designed to engage the congregation, deepen faith, and foster Christian fellowship. Sample Week Itinerary Monday – Launch & Opening Exhortation Theme: Renewal, Foundation, & Spiritual Growth Activities: Opening prayer, unveiling of the week’s theme, roll-call of organizations, and an opening sermon by the Society Minister or invited Clergy. Tuesday – Prophetic & Deliverance Night Theme: Prayer, Divine Encounter, and Mizpah’s Covenant ("The Lord watch between me and thee...") Activities: Warfare and intercessory prayers, prophetic ministration, personal intercession, and music by the Society Choir or Singing Band. Wednesday – Youth & Contemporary Issues Dialogue Theme: Faith, Career, and Digital Discipleship Activities: Interactive panel discussion covering career growth, financial stewardship, mental health, and navigating modern tech as a young Methodist. Thursday – Heritage, Drama & Cultural Night Theme: Expressing Our Faith Through Culture & Art Activities: Biblical drama/skits, mimes, choral performances, poetry, and traditional Methodist highlife ministrations. Friday – Praiz & Worship Night Theme: Mega Praise & Radical Worship Activities: An energetic worship concert featuring the local Youth Choir, guest worship leaders, local gospel bands, and extended prayer sessions. Saturday – Community Health, Outreach & Evangelism Theme: Faith in Action Activities: Morning health walk, medical screening or community cleanup around the church precinct, followed by outdoor evangelism and afternoon sports/bonding. Sunday – Thanksgiving & Climax Service Theme: Grand Thanksgiving & Commissioning Activities: Divine service fully led by the hosting group/fellowship, special thanksgiving offerings, recognition of leaders/veterans, and a post-service fellowship reception.
